An introduction to risograph printing as well as how to design and construct single-page zines. Participants will collage their zine layouts and then run them through our Riso printers. Some collage material will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own!

Participants will leave with copies of their own riso printed mini zines!

Learn to make your own sun prints using the traditional cyanotype process. A cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces blue prints using coated paper and UV light (in this case, the sun!). Supplies will be provided but participants are welcome to bring anything you’d like to make prints of (flowers, bugs, photo negatives, sticks, bones, etc.) or whatever you’d like to print onto (fabric, cardboard or paper).

Lead by UCO professor Jesse Warne, participants will use geometric printing blocks and wood type to experiment with abstract 1-2 color poster design. All participants get to compose and print their own posters using a cylinder proofing press.
